Halwill 1
Okehampton Argyle 2nds 0
A WEAKENED Okehampton travelled to Halwill and gave a good account of themselves.
Okehampton started well and looked dangerous on the early attacks. The home side then began to come into the game and Sean Sandercock pulled of a couple of good saves to keep the scores level. But he could do nothing about Halwill's winner which the home striker struck sweetly midway through the first half.
Phil Wonnacott pulled of a fine save at the other end from Aaron Bourne tipping away for a corner.
Okehampton's defence was outstanding at the finish, limiting the home attack to long range efforts only but the forwards had similar fare at the other end with few clear-cut chances.
