TAVISTOCK continued their recent great form with a comprehensive victory against bottom of the league, YMCA Parkway.
The result was never in doubt as Tavistock flew out of the traps and were 2-0 up in five minutes courtesy of yet another cool finish by Milligan and an own goal.
Doyle added a spectacular third when he curled a 25 yard shot into the top corner.
Tavistock looked like scoring with every attack but only some poor finishing and indecision costing them. In the last ten minutes of the first half, the tireless silky skills of winger Rowe, added a fourth and poacher Hughes calmly slotting home the fifth.
In the second half there was no rest bite for YMCA as Tavistock continued attacking at will. O'Boyle scored the sixth with a neat finish and the goal of the game was just around the corner. Barriball and Bone combined playing headers and vollies before Barriball headed the ball through to Milligan who volleyed home from 25 yards into the top corner, even drawing applause from the away spectactors. Two quick goals from Doyle, who completed his first ever hat trick and another one from the prolific Milligan put Tavistock out of sight. The only black mark was a moments lack of concentration by the defence who let YMCA score a late concellation.
The work rate and the team ethic showed through and they thoroughly deserved their victory.
