Teign Valley v Okehampton at Teign Valley.
R Joint and C Rowland (Teign Valley) halved with J Haslem and R Stevens (Okehampton); J Martin and B Brimble beat J Morey and R Johnson 7 and 6; G Foxall and M Daniels beat A Long and M Ivans 6 and 5; A Wilmott and G Garrett beat A Shapland and A Deakin 5 and 4; N Rogers and W Godfrey beat D Adams and B Willcocks 4 and 3.
Teign Valley four and a half points, Okehampton a half point.
It was a bad weekend for Okehampton who were also beaten by Teign Valley in the Palairet Trophy three and a half to one and a half at Downes Crediton.
Ted Boswell, Okehampton captain, remarked after the Palairet match that Teign Valley are a jinx to Okehampton as they also won both Dartmoor League matches last year.
