FOUR children from Okehampton braved the weather to help fill the coffers of the Exeter Leukaemia Fund at Edwardian Evening.
Victoria and Sophie Mugliston, and Sophia and Elisa Nightingale dressed a teddy bear in a Christmas outfit, and went around the town centre asking people to guess the teddy's festive name. The lucky winner received the bear, and the four girls raised a brilliant £45 for ELF. The amount raised for the charity at the Edwardian Evening is estimated to be 50% up from last year.
Chairman John Barton and everyone from the Okehampton supporter group for ELF thanked Victoria, Sophie, Elisa and Sophia for their efforts supporting the work of the charity. For more information about the charity's vital work, visit http://www.elfcharity.org.uk">www.elfcharity.org.uk
