Exeter Saracens U10s 10 Okehampton U10s 45 GIVEN the recent weather, it was such a relief for Oke U10s to be playing the first game for a while on a bright, sunny day at the Saracens ground in Exeter. With so many players available, it was decided to play four 10 minute games with team changes in each quarter. Okehampton got off to a great early start with Rowan scoring an early try and he followed this with some great pressure in the scrum. Two more tries in the first quarter from Brandon and Callum and some great tackling by Jake and Reece kept the Oke defence very strong and Saracens struggling. Three more tries in the second quarter by Patrick, Reece and Robbie and grim determination by Brandon ripping the ball from the Saracens added to the score. Tom made some great tackles and with the ball held up by Saracens, Oke finished the second quarter six tries in front. In the last two quarters, Reece scored two more tries and Robbie one, with some strong tackling by both. A speedy run by Samuel and a tackle by George on the Saracens' line kept the opposition from scoring. In the last quarter, despite some great tackles and drives by Brandon, Samuel, George and Patrick, the Saracens found their way and scored two good tries. It was a great game of junior rugby in which every member of the team played well.
