OKEHAMPTON Ladies? tennis team secured another victory over top of the table Exeter Golf and Country Club C. Julia Moysey and Angela Herrod-Taylor found it hard going against Country Club?s 1st pair and soon found themselves one set down. Okehampton then ran away with the second set 6-2 and at 4-4 in the final set it was anyone?s game. After another tough battle Okehampton gained the victory 6-4. Against Country Club?s 2nd pair Okehampton won 6-0, 6-4. Beth Carter and Emma Cunnington continued to play well and beat Country Club?s 2nd pair very convincingly 6-2, 6-4. In a tough battle against the visitors? 1st pair Okehampton went down 1-6, 2-6, giving Okehampton a 6-3 win overall. Next match home against Tiverton on Monday June 27.
