Okehampton Argyle U11s 6 Seaton U11s 1 Okehampton started the game on fire straight from kick off when a through ball passed from Ben Bickle to Ross Voaden on the halfway line gave Ross the opportunity to outpace the defenders and shoot in the corner to give Argyle an early lead. However, Okehampton couldn't push on from there and found the remainder of the first half hardgoing, struggling to get their passing game together. Seaton had a breakaway and equalised halfway through the half. A few good saves by Argyle goalkeeper Aaron Dearing ensured the teams went in level at half time. In the second half Argyle turned the game around, totally dominating the play with an excellent team performance. The defenders Ben Barkwill, Rhys Palmer, Ryan Gross and Liam Alford held firm and stopped all Seaton's attacks. Argyle's reward came six minutes into the second half when once again Ross beat the offside trap and shot past the keeper. Shortly after Ross scored again to secure his hattrick. Argyle having found their form began to enjoy themselves and produced a superb team goal starting from Ryan Gross in defence with passing moves between Ben Bickle, Ross and Jamie Mallet ending with a cross by Ross which Ben Jarvis powered into the back of the net. By this time the mid field of Ben Bickle Ben Jarvis, Tallan Burns, Callum Goodwin and Jamie Mallet were totally in command. Good tenacious tackling by Dan Hornibrook and Sam Whalley assisted in giving Okehampton the biting edge. Jamie made it five with an individual effort where he rounded the keeper and blasted into the back of the net. Argyle finished the scoring 6-1 when a deflected drive from Ross looped over the keeper.
