TWO men from Chillaton are due to cycle from John O?Groats to Land?s End next month in aid of Woodlands Special School in Plymouth. Tim Woodward (left), who teaches at Whitchurch Primary School, will ride with his friend Jamie Rutherford, a teacher at Tamarside Secondary School, on July 27. Woodlands School caters for children with a wide range of physical and mental disabilities, and it is where Tim?s ten-year-old son Sam attends. Both cyclists plan to complete the 1,000 mile trip in around two weeks and hope to raise money for new mobile sensory equipment for the school. Tim and Jamie have already received lots of support from their colleagues and friends, but hope local companies or organisations would help sponsor the trip.
