A TEATIME 'Literary Delights' event dedicated to the memory of Enid Gill, a well known local poet and fundraiser who died in June 2007, was held at The Wharf in Tavistock on Monday.
The theme was wear something pink or red, which were Enid Gill's favourite colours.
More than 30 people from Tavistock's community of writers attended the event and read poems and stories dedicated to Enid or written by Enid.
The event was much enjoyed by all who attended and following the concluding poetry readings by Ken Luscombe (Enid Gill's companion) and the Rev Michael Brierley, everyone enjoyed a cream tea. The event was organized by Ann Pulsford and Angela Court of the Wharf is thanked for providing the space for the community event.
