PRE-school children at Tavistock Area Children's Centre are making a real difference by taking part in the Barnardo's Big Tea Party.

Barnardo's Big Tea Party is inviting parents, carers and families to arrange a Big Tea Party for under 5s with their friends and families to raise money for disadvantaged and vulnerable children.

On Monday, December 3, tiny tots at Tavistock Area Children's Centre will be making flags and party hats and getting their parents, carers, friends and families to donate money and enjoy some home made buns and a cup of tea.

Oliver Mackie, manager of Tavistock Area Children's Centre, said: 'The Big Tea Party provides a great opportunity to raise vital funds for Barnardo's continued work with disadvantaged and vulnerable children in our area.

'We are hoping that local families and carers will drop in anytime between 10am and 3pm, to see what we do and tell us what services they would like us to provide.'
