ON the half-hour Winkleigh scored from a corner.
The crowd became frustrated as the ref kept stopping the game, playing everything by the book.
Two minutes before half-time Richard Keast?s accurate corner onto Chris Field?s head gave Tawton the equaliser.
In the second half Winkleigh came at Tawton and when they stole the ball from Alex Green?s feet they poked home their second.
Tawton at times played good football, but both sides became frustrated with high winds.
On the hour Chris Fields had a pop at goal from 18 yards. The ball went past all defenders and through the keeper?s legs.
Both teams went out for the win. Winkleigh had their chance with a one-on-one with Alan Grimshaw, but a super save kept them out.
Then Oliver Webber came up trumps scoring the winner against his former club.
This win keeps Tawton with a good chance of being promoted.
