MARY Tavy took in a breath of sea air and enjoyed the view over the Cornish coastline as they completely overran a weak Gerrans side.
The question was always going to be how many?
It was Scott Dent who proved to be the biggest thorn in the Gerrans side and was unlucky on several occasions not to get his hat trick and more besides.
It was Craig Groombridge and Ben Stephens? array of passes that lead to Dent drilling home from the left. Coole then had one of his own after fine work from Credicott finishing from close in.
Philpotts kept his head to make it 3-0 slotting into the corner and a smart header from Dent provided his second.
The game was slightly interrupted when the referee had words with Tavy keeper Rawlings and Stephens was unlucky to have a goal disallowed but 4-0 at the break was more than satisfactory.
The second half got underway with the Gerrans goal under siege from the off and Stephens lashed in a corker to make sure his name eventually got on the sheet. Philpotts wrapped things up from close range to round off a super performance from the Tavy side.
