This was a good match played in reasonable conditions! The same team also won the previous week?s match, due to an injury to one of the opposing team ? Tavistock hopes that the injured lady will soon recover. The friendly match played at Tavistock against Yelverton was lost 3-7. There were some long rallies in this mixed doubles game played by Jane Rogers/John Marshall, playing in his first match and Debra Allan/Paul Jackson. Debra and Tom Alway (Yelverton), both aged 13, played well for their respective clubs. The friendly against North Wyke (IGER) at home was not completed with IGER leading 3-2. Team: Babette Jackson/David Isaac and Josie Gerhold/John Burgess.
