TAVISTOCK Short Mat Bowling Club held their second spring tournament on Saturday at Tavistock College.
The day was a great success with teams from Buckland Monachorum, Callington, Landrake, Coombe Dean, Saltash, Plymstock, Tothill and Tavistock all enjoying good bowling.
The Tavistock team won the trophy with a score of 12 points and a plus 39 shots difference. Tothill were runners up with 10pts, plus 43 shots difference and Buckland Monachorum third with 8pts, plus 22 shots.
The committee thank all local businesses and club members who supported with the tournament by donating raffle prizes and also those members who helped on the day — much appreciated.
