South one division

Bodmin 6

Tavistock 1

TAVISTOCK got off to a bad start, with early pressure from the home side, Bodmin fired in an early goal which left the visitors on the back foot'.

The away team conceded two more goals before half time, although this was a scoreline which did not reflect the run of the first half.

Tavistock returned brightly after the half time break and pulled an early goal back, scored by Luke Daniells.

The Bodmin side were too strong and collected another three goals, despite the efforts of the Tavistock defence and the side's man of the match Paul Mingo in goal.  Bodmin took the three points.

The Tavistock benefitted from an influx of young players from the seconds, however due to the lack of cohesion between the old and the new, the squad will require training together before we can become a force equal to the task of the South one division.
