THIS cup match should have been sewn up when Tavistock's Alicia Turner hit a superb shot into the back of the net within 10 minutes. The visitors soon replied after poor defending but Weeks latched onto a cross from Blowey shortly before half time and Tavistock took the lead again.

Zoe Stock in goal for Tavistock pulled off some great saves. Hurley, Webber and Coker changed position constantly to try and fill in for the ill players but in the end too many players were out of position and when Blowey and Turner came off injured the game was lost for the home side. Katie Glasspoole ran her socks off and deservedly received TCFC's player of the match.

The ladies are now out of the cup but still retain the third position slot.
