TATE Budge, aged 12, from Tavistock rounded off a great year in Taekwon-do on Sunday. Tate, a second degree black belt won first gold in black belt patterns at the West Coast Martial Arts Championships in Sherbourne, Dorset.

Tate also picked up two medals at the South Coast Martial Arts open last month winning bronze for patterns and gold in sparring.
