TAVISTOCK College sixth form student Taryn Gay is celebrating after being selected to attend the National Community Volunteers Residential Camp at Loughborough University this spring. The camp is being organised by the Youth Sports Trust as part of the Step into Sport training programme, which has backing from Sport England. Taryn, an outdoor education enthusiast, was one of 32 students from four Devon schools who are participating in the Step Into Sport programme. Taryn and three other students from Okehampton and Kingsbridge colleges have also been selected to represent the Schools Ports Partnership which is being hosted by Ivybridge Sports College. Taryn goes to Loughborough on April 10.
