A BRAND new pop music school is busy targeting local musicians for rare and unusual part-time jobs in music. The Clive?s Easylearn Music School, opening at Whitchurch Community Primary School, will enable people to experience playing instruments, singing and dancing together in pop and rock bands right from the start of the course. The music school, owned and operated as a franchise by Neil Marcer from Tavistock, offers a unique brand of simplified pop and rock music training in guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, vocals and dance choreography. Neil is keen to encourage local musicians to come forward to be trained as tutors in the new school ? operating on Saturdays. He said: ?I?ve lived in the area for many years and know that the place is teeming with great musical talent, but opportunities to earn money in rock and pop have always been pretty much non-existent until now. ?I want to change all that and give our local musicians the unusual chance to supplement their incomes doing something that they will really enjoy for a change.? Local musicians do not need previous teaching experience because there is a simple training system in place to get them up to speed. The Clive?s Easylearn Pop Music School opens at Whitchurch Primary on October 28 at 9.30am. Neil is inviting potential tutors to apply online at http://www.clivesmusic.com">www.clivesmusic.com
