THE work of the Meteorological Office in Exeter is the subject of a talk organised by the West Devon Association of the National Trust (NTWDA) taking place in West Devon next week.

The talk by Andy Yeatman promises to offer an interesting insight into the rôle of this organisation, whose work plays an important part in all aspects of our daily lives.

The event takes place at 2pm on Thursday, April 12 in Bridestowe Village Hall — on the old A30.

All National Trust members and guests are welcome. Admission £3.
