BUSINESSES in West Devon have an opportunity to tell the borough council and Devon Renaissance what makes them tick, and to receive help and advice on attracting funding.

The council's surveys in the last six years have helped to bring more than £4 million, it said, of funding into the area for projects that have included hundreds of free or subsidised training opportunities, provided IT equipment and advice, and funding directly to businesses to fulfil growth plans and find new premises. 

In this new survey the council is keen to hear from all types of businesses, from new ones to those that may not even be established yet, to larger ones that have been trading for many years. 

The council said it is interested to learn about the premises that businesses currently work from and if they are thinking of either  relocating, adapting or expanding existing premises.
