WEST Devon Borough Council will be visiting Chagford's Endecott House on Monday. The council's customer service team will be available from 10am until 2pm, to answer questions and provide information and advice. They will be joined by representatives from the housing, pensions and environment services, as well as from a range of other organisations, including the Citizens' Advice Bureau, Devon Fire and Rescue Service, the Community Volunteer Service, and the Community Police Service. The drop-in surgery follows in the footsteps of similar, sucessful ventures which have recently been set up at Hatherleigh and North Tawton. Alison Stoneham, of West Devon Borough Council, said: 'The North Tawton and Hatherleigh sessions have been really sucessful. 'People can drop in and get things like pensions sorted out on the spot. It's the easiest way to contact the council if you live in a rural area.' The Chagford event will be the first in a series: other sessions will be held at Endecott House from 9 am -12 noon on April 2 and 23, and May 14.
