ON behalf of all those involved with the Tavistock branch of the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign I would like to say a big thank you to the people of the Tavistock area for their generosity and support during our collection week June 18 to 24, flag day in the town on June 23, and Bere Alston coffee morning in May. An amazing £1,484.20 was raised.

A special thank you to all those who gave their time to collect for us, and to the farmers' market traders, Tavistock Methodist Church and West Devon Borough Council for their assistance.

The support, research and family care provided by the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign is making a great difference to many, many young lives. Thank you.
