ST MARY'S Church in Exbourne is organising a harvest supper and harvest service in September to celebrate the autumnal tradition.

The harvest supper will take place in Exbourne Village Hall on Saturday September 17 at 7pm, with residents of Exbourne, Jacobstowe, Meeth, Hatherleigh, Northlew and surrounding area all welcome to join in.

Tickets are available from Sally on 01837 851646, Lorraine on 01837 851246 or from the Burrow Shop, costing £6 for adults and £3 for children. Please book your place by September 12.

On Sunday September 18 at 11am the united harvest service will take place at St Mary's, with visiting preacher the Rev Susanna Metz carrying out the address. The service will be a celebratory event, and again all are welcome to attend.

Offers of produce, flowers, and food for the supper would be greatly appreciated, as would help to decorate the church and organise the meal.
