MORE wool is needed by the Operation Sunshine knitters to make jumpers for African children.
Over the last 30 years, 16,000 jumpers have been made for infants in Africa but the ladies are running out of wool. The knitters are asking for any donations — these can be scraps, not necessarily balls of wools, which can be expensive.
'We will be grateful for anything and there is a collection point in the library,' said Operation Sunshine's Buckland Monachorum group organiser Linda Downing.
