TAVISTOCK Walk and Talk scheme will be piloting three Sunday walks, starting at the end of this month.   From Sunday, April 27, walks will be held on the last Sunday of each month, and will take approximately one and a half hours. Walkers will meet at The Wharf at 2pm and car share to a different venue in the surrounding area each month. The walks are suitable for people who already do a certain amount of activity and able to cope with hills.  Tavistock Walk and Talk has been running since September and one walker has enjoyed it so much she submitted a walk to Radio Devon, to be included in their 25 favourite walks celebrating the station's 25th birthday. Radio Devon interviewed the walkers and were so impressed they told Spotlight TV, who brought along a film crew.   Tammy Messenger, West Devon's sports development officer, said: 'Without such an excellent group of trained volunteer leaders the scheme just wouldn't happen. 'We are always hoping to get more people involved and we provide free training.' For more details about any of the walks contact Tammy on 07990804756 or 01822 813628.
