TWENTY eight runners and one cyclist took part in the Sunday training run organised by Dotty Allan last week.

The runners who were from Bere Alston Trekkers, Tavistock Athletics, the Saturday Ladies and the Monday men met in freezing conditions but under a clear blue sky with glorious sunshine in Whitchurch to run the Tavy 7 route.

Some were running as part of their Grizzly training, some for their marathon training, others for the Tavy 13 and some for the sheer enjoyment of running but all were running against the clock and there were some brilliant times recorded.

First man home was John Martin who was chased by John Bills and first lady was Becky Mingo.
