THE weather could not have been better for Horrabridge's summer fair, as the sun beat down upon the festivities at the village's Weir Park.

The hot weather was also ideal for the barrel race in the river, which proved the ideal way to cool off and have fun at the same time — but it must have proved a little warm for the tug of war event!
