DANCING, a barbecue, cream teas, skittles, crafts and children?s games galore were on the menu at a Summer Fete held at the Red House Residential Home in Yelverton last weekend. The event, enjoyed by staff, residents and members of the community, raised a splendid £354 for the residents? fund and Macmillan Nurses in Plymouth. A spokesman for the Red House said it was lovely to see so much generous support for the event, particularly from families of former residents of The Red House.
