DARTMOOR Archive Roadshow and Exhibition has completed its first month on tour. Many people attended the successful exhibition, bringing new photograph collections for digitisation and sharing memories and stories. These were recorded and included in the archive, bringing the collection of more than 6,000 images to life. The roadshow gives people the opportunity to use the archive?s digital image archive and record their own stories and memories alongside the images, as well as bringing their own photographs for digitisation. The archive aims digitally to preserve Dartmoor?s visual heritage and make it globally accessible via the internet for research and education.
