YEAR 11 students from Tavistock College, who have worked during the autumn term caring for the college gardens and animals, have raised more than £70 for Cancer Research UK.
It was the students' choice to support this charity and they raised the money by raffling baskets of vegetables and selling eggs from the chickens.
A cheque was presented to Cancer Research at the end of term.
