TEN sixth form students from Callington Community College are volunteering in the Gambia in February 2013.

During their trip they will be teaching children, working in the local health centre and contributing to construction projects to build structures and install running water to every home in the community. 

They are currently fundraising for their trip and recently completed a ten-mile sponsored walk from Callington to Plymouth, which took four hours and 45 minutes.

If anyone would like to contribute towards this amazing volunteering project they are asked to send all donations to the college.
