l EIGHTEEN Spanish students and two members of staff from Callington Community College’s partner school IES Huerta Alta in Spain, spent a week with their Callington exchange partners earlier this month.

The Spanish students went to lessons with their partners. The group spent a day in Plymouth, including a boat trip across Plymouth Sound and up to the dockyard as well as a visit to the Hoe for a group photo in front of Sir Francis Drake’s statue. The visit also involved a trip to Exeter to explore the underground tunnels and included a chance sighting of Prince Edward at Exeter Cathedral. Callington students are now counting down the weeks until their return visit to Spain in February.
