The Triangle Centre in Tavistock — along with sister projects in Kingsbridge and Liskeard — provide support and information to people affected by cancer, patients, their families and carers.
A group of her friends joined organiser Lesley Oakes on the five and a half mile sponsored walk that started at the Weir Restaurant near Bude, Cornwall. The group walked along the canal into the town and around the beaches before returning to the restaurant.
The walkers included friends of Lesley's from the online community competition (Loquax), of which she is part. She thanked everyone who helped make the event such a great success.
