THE annual street market in Chagford Square is being held again next month by the Chagford branch of Cancer Research UK. From 9am on Saturday, August 5, visitors can buy cakes, plants, nearly new clothes, books, bric-a-brac and other items. There will also be the chance to try your luck on the tombola, buy tickets to win prizes in the grand draw or win a single bed quilt in the quilt draw. Coffee will be available in Endecott House. From 2.30pm, start rummaging for a bargain in the bumper jumble sale in the Jubilee Hall.
