A STREET collection held for St Luke's Hospice in Tavistock's Bedford Square last weekend raised £194.

There were no expenses or payments incurred in connection with the collection.

The permit for the collection was granted by West Devon Council to Roger Mechan, who is walking the pilgrim routes of Europe  to raise money for St Luke's and Help for Heroes.

So far Roger has walked more than 1,400 miles and raised over £12,500.
