OPENING hours at a number of Inland Revenue offices in Devon will be extended next week to give last-minute help to those who have yet to complete their tax returns.

Late night opening will be in operation at the Barnstaple, Bideford, Exeter and Newton Abbot offices on Thursday, January 30 and Friday, January 31, giving help and advice for people who have yet to complete their delf-assessment forms.

Forms returned after the deadline of next Friday, could incur a £100 penalty.

The offices at Regent House, Hardaway Head, Queen Street, Barnstaple; Northbank House, North Road, Bideford; Longbrook House, New North Road, Exeter and Sherborne House, Kingsteignton Road, Newton Abbot, will be open between 8am and 8pm on Thursday, January 30 and Friday, January 31.
