SNOW and the cold weather was not enough to stop Okehampton Walk and Talk members from enjoying their weekly walk on January 23.
Eight of them braved wintry conditions to take part in a walk on the slopes of the moor. After enjoying the freshly fallen snow, the group finished with warming coffee and bacon baps.
The group normally attracts more members, but new walkers are always welcome. They meet for their weekly walks at Fairplace Terrace near the post office at 10am on Wednesdays. Walks are free and a published list can be found in Okehampton Library, Okehampton Station, the tourist information centre, and pubs and estate agents around the town.
