BRAVE couple Philippa and Stephen Wilkins from Okehampton recently shaved their heads in order to raise money for Macmillan.
The husband and wife duo recently braved the shave at Quinns Hair Salon to raise money for the cancer support charity.
The pair said they have received many generous donations and have so far raised £900. They hope to get their grand total up to £1,000.
Philippa said: ‘Over the recent years my husband and I have both lost family, friends and work colleagues to cancer and have seen how it devastates lives. Macmillan has helped many of these people.’
Brave to Shave is a campaign run by Macmillan which encourages people to take the plunge and chop off their locks in order to raise money that will go towards supporting people suffering with cancer as well as their families.
