ENTRY forms are now available to take part in Cancer Research's annual moor walks. Two walks — of six miles and 13 miles —have been organised for Sunday June 3, both beginning and ending at Okehampton Rugby Club. Each has been carefully planned to combine scenic beauty with natural, historical and cultural interest, as well as safety. All walkers are asked to pay a registration fee of £6, and to raise their own sponsorship for the event. Sponsor forms will be sent out once entry forms are received by the charity. Walkers for either route should be in good health, and those under the age of 14 need to be accompanied by an adult, and to have the signed consent of a parent or guardian. The event will start at 11am and walkers need to register for it no later than 10.30am. Refreshments will be available both before and after the walks at the rugby glub. To take part in the event, call Angela for an entry form on 01837 54782 (office hours, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
