MORE than 100 people turned out as Haverleigh Cricket Club enjoyed their presentation night. Former Somerset player MIke Burns and former Indian player Ali Alan, who batted with Tendulker when he made his first class debut and was also at the other end when Tendulker made his first international 100, were there on a memorable evening. The awards: Under 10s: best fielder, Harry Gilbert; best batsman, Billy Searle; bowler, Jack Hayman. U11s: fielder, Morgan Reynolds; batsman, Paul Penberthy; bowler, Luke Reynolds; most improved, Jack Cherrington. U13s: fielder, Andrew Collier, batsman, Paul Windthorpe; bowler, Sean Letheren; player of the season, Jack Stanbury; most improved Steven Miles. U15s: fielder, Andrew Fishleigh; batsman, Peter Cooper; bowler, Scott Tremain.
