PEOPLE can learn more about the universe at a stargazing event at Cookworthy Forest tomorrow (Friday).
Experienced astronomers will be on hand at the event, which starts at 7pm. There will be an informative slide show followed by a short walk into the forest by torchlight, where people can view the stars and planets through powerful telescopes.
The event is suitable for people over 12 years old and costs £7.50 per person, which includes tea and coffee. Stargazers should bring their own torches.
