TAVISTOCK'S Stannary Brass Band is inviting people to its Proms Concert this Saturday (October 5).

Hosted by patron Angela Rippon, the concert will be held in Tavistock Methodist Church, and will also feature the Kingsmen Barbershop Chorus.

The fun and flag waving will start at 7.30pm. Tickets, priced at £7 for adults and £2.50 for children, can be bought from Ward and Chowen in advance or on the door on the night.
