OKEHAMPTON will once again be holding a St George's Day breakfast this year but the date has changed to May 2.
St George's Day is normally celebrated on April 23 but because it co-incides with Easter Day this year it has been altered.
Okehampton celebrated the day in style with a traditional breakfast in 1999 and plans to repeat the popular venture using the occasion to promote local food.
The breakfast will be held in the Plume of Feathers and applications for tickets should be made to Derek Godfrey Brown of Okehampton Chamber of Trade on 01837 53158.
