WEST Devon Borough Council is to employ a person to supervise the Okehampton Sports Centre Project at a cost of £17,500.
The part-time employee will oversee the work on the £4.2-million project, which will run for just over a year, finishing in the summer of 2004.
The council?s policy and resources committee agreed money should be allocated from the authority?s £56,000 contingency fund.
