Tavistock Girls U17s 41 Crediton Girls U17s 0 TAVISTOCK travelled to Crediton and ended up loaning four of their players to the opposition. Tavistock dominated the match which was played in a sporting manner. Jenny Young scored the first try of the match within the first minute from a solo run of the entire pitch. It was then made even better when the try was successfully converted by Robynne Honey, who went on to score four tries of her own. Paige McGechie got her hands on the ball after the Tavistock forwards successfully won a Crediton lineout and scored her try right between the posts. After a powerful run and all round hard work, Izzy De Carles scored her first, thoroughly deserved, try. It was a great effort by the whole team and the girls are looking forward to the next match against South West?s top team Liskeard on Sunday (October 29).
