Jeffery?s Estate Agents Knock Out Cup Lamerton 7 Foxhole 2 LAMERTON started brightly in sludgy conditions and the game was set with just fifteen minutes gone when a burst from midfield by Dan Healy caught Foxhole off guard leaving the unfortunate Martin Davy as last defender. His reckless challenge led to a penalty and a sending off with Paul Cowling scoring from the spot. Lamerton took full control with two further Cowling goals, one an accurate header from a Steve Gibbings cross. Foxhole showed good spirit in the second half with Martin Raikes hitting a crisp shot to reduce the arrears and then Liam Dingle added a second. The hosts then deflated the courageous ten men with Cowling?s fourth goal from a Kevin Swift through ball. Dave Byworth added a fifth with an outside of the foot strike. Lamerton rounded up a 7-2 victory with two further goals from Swift and Byworth.
