Okehampton Ladies Netball League THE season got under way with some good matches. There are now three divisions in the league with some new teams of excellent standard. FBI 28 Sugar and Spice 25 In the 3rd division, FBI played Sugar and Spice in an evenly matched game. Brilliant netball played throughout in good spirit. Quicksilver 59 Hatherleigh 26 Newly promoted Quicksilver played Hatherleigh in division 1 in a good game where both teams produced good netball. Quicksilver lived up to their name ? fast and too slippery for Hatherleigh in the end. Okehampton Junior Netball League Floelles 3 Black Fairies 9 LAST week saw the first games of the Junior Netball week. This season the league is running with two divisions due to the interest shown from girls in the Okehampton area. Floelles played Black Fairies in a good match with both teams producing fine netball. Black Fairies, just having the advantage of being the more experienced, kept on top. Players of the match: Floelles Poppy Chadwick, Black Fairies Martha Fawcett and Charly Radnor. Double Deckers 11 Magic Seven 1 Two new teams were next to play with the girls played well, despite the lack of experience they have in a seven a side game. Players of the match: Double Deckers, Maddy Weaver; Magic Seven, Lucy Gross.
