TWENTY six pupils from Mount House School in Tavistock took part in the City of Plymouth Festival, and all were awarded certificates in speech and drama at either commended, merit or distinction categories. Linus Pomroy and Maddie Hine received distinctions, and Jessye Phillips, who also achieved distinction, won the Novice Verse Speaking Zoe Vigus Cup (10 years and under) in a stiff competition against 43 other children.
