TAVISTOCK businesses, big and small, are invited to learn about excelling in business at a humorous, yet practical, talk entitled 'How to make your millions'.

The talk is part of Tavistock's Chamber of Commerce's summer barbecue to be held at the Wharf on Monday 13 June at 6pm. Guest speaker and serial success story is Simon Chamberlain.

Nigel Eadie, chairman of Tavistock Chamber of Commence, said: 'I am looking forward to meeting more of Tavistock's business community at our annual barbecue and am confident that we will all learn from what Simon has to say.

'Whether you are a shop owner, a sign writer or a web designer, networking events like these are invaluable.

'They are informal affairs and I would encourage everyone to come along and reap the rewards for their business.'

Simon Chamberlain has worked in financial services since leaving university, spending time with big hitters such as J Rothschild Assurance, Royal Life and Zurich, before launching his own highly successful business — Thinc (now known as BlueFin).

Tickets for the event are £15 (£10 for chamber members) and are available from Robert Oxborough or Neil Jory at Games and Computers, on Market Street Tavistock.
